For the symptoms, I will try to explain...
1) the General volume is set on the middle
2) I'm starting Totem (for example) with a MP3
3) before start playing, I'm setting Totem's level volume on the middle
4) I start to play the MP3
5) the sound grow up more and more but the Gnome's General Volume and Totem's
level volume don't move !!!
6) if I'm scroll down slowly the General level, the sound briskly down
7) with the Totem's level, it's nearly the same (very difficult for me to
explain, but if I must do, I'll try :) )
