Partially corrected in version 0.9.4.202610201718~ubuntu26.10.1 from ppa. But you need to force /com/github/FontManager/FontManager/use-adwaita-stylesheet to true, because it is NOT the default value. And if it is set to false, font-manager still hangs. The same holds for font-viewer, but hopefully its defaults value is true.
