Another attempt to upload dmesg resulted in a web page stating "Uh oh! Something has gone wrong. We're sorry!"
But, before it did that, the flickering got extremely bad, making the screen impossible to read. The flickering stopped once it got to the error screen. I assume that the upload routine did something to create the flicker, but maybe that's something for you to say.
