After some reading I believe the issue (also existing latest upstream) is that before
b1aea2c19607 "apparmor: fix race in unix socket mediation when peer_path is used" update_peer_ctx() was called from within aa_unix_file_perm() when is_sk_fs was false (regardless whether is_unix_fs(peer_sk) was true or not. After the change it is only done in the case of is_unix_fs(peer_sk) being false. And that seems to trigger the bug on the update_sk_ctx() call leaving the function. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2170572 Title: linux-image-7.0.0-38-generic randomly freezes Lenovo Legion 5 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2170572/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
