I understand this was a deliberate design decision: Yaru icons are aligned to the 16x16 grid. For these icons that have centered strokes, shifting the icons one pixel avoids half pixels that may result in bad rendering in non-HDPI screens. It's far from the only one: for instance, list-add-symbolic (a plus icon) is also shifted on the two axes.
I see how some icons rely on thicker strokes (of 2 or even 4 pixels to be able to center them), but not sure that's an acceptable solution here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2170348 Title: Misalignment of Power Off icon against icon background To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/yaru/+bug/2170348/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
