** Description changed:

  [ Impact ]

Ubuntu 26.04.1, GNOME Shell 50.1, Wayland, Wacom Intuos Pro M
  (056a:0357).

Drag-and-drop with the pen only works within the same window.
Drag-and-drop across different windows with the pen fails.

  [ Test Plan ]

  1. Log-in to Ubuntu Desktop
  2. Open the Files and Terminal apps
- 3. Drag-and-drop a file into the terminal
+ 3. Use a stylus device to drag-and-drop a file into the terminal
  4. Verify that the drag-and-drop worked, writing the file path into the
terminal input line

[ Where problems could occur ]

The patches affect the cursor focus tracking for stylus devices.
Where applicable, the new focus logic copies the same logic already
implemented for the mouse pointer, which gives a certain degree of confidence.
Bug would manifest with stylus input not working correctly.
In the worst case, the desktop may crash and forcefully log-out the user.
