Public bug reported:
Was watching YouTube video trying to track down sound drop outs after
upgrading from 24.04 to 26.04 yesterday.
Suddenly, screen froze while sound continued for 1 or 2 seconds. Then
black screen and then the typical login screen.
My login session was terminated unexpectedly. The only other error I see in
journalctl is:
Failed to start gnome-software.service - GNOME Software.
Repeated multiple times prior to the event.
