The error happens because aconnect.c uses undeclared err instead of
errcode in error_handler().
Upstream fixed this in commit d0bdee7a32904145ebe38203e7c54884ab56f688.
I cherry-picked the upstream patch and attached the debdiff for stonking
(1.2.15.2-1ubuntu2).
The package builds cleanly and passes all checks.

in stonking).
