Thank you, this is a very useful result: it confirms the same firmware bug on board 8DA0 (OmniBook 7 Flip 16), BIOS F.08, and that the mkinitcpio path works. Your point about lockdown is right; the requirement is lockdown off, not Secure Boot off. I have updated the README.
The kernel patch also covers board 8DA0. If you are comfortable building a patched kernel or module on Arch, a test of the actual patch would let me add a Tested-by for 8DA0: https://patch.msgid.link/[email protected] (Uninstall the ACPI fix first, so you are testing the patch alone.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2142384 Title: ELAN2514:00 (04F3:4428) stylus report rate extremely low (~10–25 Hz) on Ubuntu 24.04 kernel 6.17 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2142384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
