The upstream fix for this is "drm/i915/mtl+: Enable PPS before PLL" (Imre Deak, 2026-06-12). It closes drm/i915 work items #16098, #16064 and #16042, is tagged Cc: [email protected] # v7.0+, and is a small change to intel_ddi.c. Arch has carried it since v7.1.2-arch3 (July 3).
I've checked the 26.04 generic kernel (7.0.0-31) and linux-oem-26.04 (7.0.0-1008) changelogs, and neither contains it. Could it be cherry- picked into the resolute kernel? I'm happy to test a build from a PPA.
