If i get a vote for the fix, I would much rather have separate wizards and manual configuration. I also think the difference between local and network printers should be distinguished. I'f I'm trying to install a local photo printer the utility shouldn't need to scan the network at all. The ability to export and import settings would be great for deployment, but that's a bit beyond the scope of the bug.
