sometimes kacpid use arround 50% of the cpu times (core 2 T7500) and i have to
reboot to return to a normal state.
I can't kill the process kacpid.
I use the last official BIOS of the laptop (PB3G3A03)

For info ubuntu 7.10 64 bits version is uptodate
Other info :
- Dualboot with vista, where i have a similar problem of cpu intensive usage
(not all the time), but no way to see the specific process using cpu, as task
manager not as good as ubuntu :)
- sometimes i lost wifi signal, no way to link up again until i reboot or use
the special on/off button for wifi
- All other peripheral working well webcam to !

I'm ready to test what is necessary to help solving the issues,
installing other versions of ubuntu or kernel etc ...
