Public bug reported:
Trying to open gimp it never reaches its graphical environment. It just
stalls when it is loading and underneath it says "Documents". The same
happens invoking gimp under terminal.
I have tried to clear relevant directories and relaunching gimp to no avail:
m -rf ~/.config/GIMP/
rm -rf ~/.cache/gimp/
I had issues launching gimp from ubuntu 26.04. In the meantime the
appimage is working fine. The issue is with the default deb file.
