Checked: nsight-systems-13-3 - **`nsysdk` headers (8 paths × 2 arch, NEW in this version)**: files declare `SPDX-License-Identifier: Apache-2.0 WITH LLVM-exception`, but no stanza exists for `a*64/target-linux-*/nsysdk/*`, so they fall under the `amd64/* arm64/*` catch-all claiming `NVIDIA-CUDA-Proprietary`. Objective metadata error newly introduced by the new upstream files. - **`plugins/efa_metrics/Licenses.txt` (×2 arch)**: Apache-2.0 (AWS EFA node exporter) but claimed proprietary via the catch-all (carry-over from accepted 13-2). - **`python/lib/python3.12/tomllib/*` (16 files)**: MIT per SPDX; covered only by the `python/*` → Python-History-License stanza (carry-over). - **`pip-25.0.1.dist-info/LICENSE.txt` / `_jaraco_text.py`**: MIT permission text, claimed as Python-History-License (naming imprecision). (And a lot of the things repeat, that we now mentioned often enough) e.g. here alien-tag due to "exit-in-shared-library" again. Yet again some unfiltered tool findings to close out 1. **Copyright accuracy (licenserecon discrepancies)** — `lrc` found files claimed under `NVIDIA-CUDA-Proprietary` that actually carry permissive licenses in their headers: - `a*64/host/target-linux-x64/nsysdk/include/nsysdk/**` → Apache-2.0 - `a*64/host/target-linux-x64/python/lib/python3.12/tomllib/*.py` → Expat (PSF-dual) - `a*64/docs/CopyrightAndLicenses/index.html` → Expat - `a*64/docs/searchindex.js` → multi-license (Apache-2.0/BSD/Expat/LGPL-2.1/OFL) vs claimed BSD-2-Clause - `efa_metrics/Licenses.txt`, `nsys_cpu_stats/.../3rdpartylicenses.txt` → Apache-2.0/Expat The blanket `Files: amd64/* arm64/*` stanza over-claims (more restrictively) on files that upstream explicitly licenses otherwise. New in this release (`nsysdk` headers are new per the changelog). Should be fixed with specific stanzas — arguably not accept-blocking since the error is conservative, but DEP-5 accuracy is expected. Again, not great at all, but not worse than before and making baby steps in the right direction.
