** Patch added: "rdma-core_65.0-1ubuntu1.debdiff" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rdma-core/+bug/2167325/+attachment/6001049/+files/rdma-core_65.0-1ubuntu1.debdiff
** Description changed: ## FFe ## [Description] Merge Debian unstable 65.0-1 (upstream 65.0) as 65.0-1ubuntu1. stonking has 64.0-1ubuntu1 (FFe LP: #2165887). Upstream v64.0..v65.0 (91 commits), highlights: - mlx5: ConnectX-10 PCI IDs, clock and CQ cleanup fixes - rdma_topo: ConnectX-9 ID, multi-NIC and NUMA topology support - libibverbs: Completion Counters verbs, DMA-buf fd export for ibv_buf - librdmacm: repoll_* API, epoll in librspreload, CM event fixes - Provider updates: mana, efa, ionic, bnxt_re, erdma ABI: no SONAME change, new symbols only. Private ABI bump (IBVERBS_PRIVATE_65) affects only libibverbs1 and ibverbs-providers from the same source, as in 64.0. Ubuntu delta is unchanged: no pandoc and no man pages on i386. [Rationale] - NVIDIA GB300 Grace machines benefit from the mlx5 and rdma_topo updates. - Intel IPU E2000 (irdma GEN3) systems can benefit from the libibverbs updates. - Keeps 26.10 on the current upstream release, already in Debian, with no new delta. [Regression potential] - Consumers: ceph, dpdk, libfabric, openmpi, ucx, fio, libpcap, ... - No ABI break. Main risk is in mlx5/mlx4/mthca CQ handling and librdmacm event dispatch. - librspreload now also interposes epoll_*; this only affects apps run with LD_PRELOAD=librspreload. [Testing] - PPA: ppa:virtustom/TODO - - Builds: TODO (all arches; i386 exercises the man pages delta) + PPA: ppa:virtustom/rdma-core-65.0-stonking + https://launchpad.net/~virtustom/+archive/ubuntu/rdma-core-65.0-stonking + - Builds: in progress in the PPA for all architectures - Reverse-dependency autopkgtests: TODO (same 14 sources as for 64.0, see autopkgtest-rdeps.txt) - Install and upgrade from 64.0-1ubuntu1 in stonking LXD: TODO (see install-upgrade.log) - seeded-in-ubuntu rdma-core: TODO + seeded-in-ubuntu rdma-core: rdma-core's binaries are not seeded. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2167325 Title: FFe: Please merge rdma-core 65.0-1 from Debian unstable into stonking (new upstream release 65.0) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rdma-core/+bug/2167325/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
