Public bug reported:
Cinnamon and csd-media-keys crash (SIGABRT) when connecting Bluetooth
headphones (Xiaomi Buds 5). The whole session goes down and I have to
restart.
Steps to reproduce:
Log in to a Cinnamon session (X11) on Ubuntu Cinnamon 26.04.
Connect Bluetooth headphones that support the headset (HFP) profile.
Cinnamon and csd-media-keys crash immediately.
Log: "Cvc:ERROR:../libcvc/gvc-mixer-
stream.c:541:gvc_mixer_stream_get_port: code should not be reached"
Same as upstream linuxmint/cinnamon-desktop issue #267 (closed upstream)
and GNOME libgnome-volume-control MR !31. Please backport the fix to
Ubuntu 26.04.
