Public bug reported: The test 46 is flaky on Ubuntu:
``` [ 2.459257] systemd-sysext[150]: Failed to read metadata for image dracut-sysext: No such device [FAILED] Failed to start systemd-sysext-ini…ension Images into /usr/ and /opt/. ``` I have seen this failure on the CI on ubuntu:rolling and on Ubuntu's autopkgtest on Ubuntu devel. I can reproduce it locally with 10–50% failure rate. Here is one failing autopkgtest log: https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest- stonking/stonking/amd64/d/dracut/20260908_205705_e00a1@/log.gz ** Affects: dracut Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: dracut (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: github.com/dracut-ng/dracut/issues #2761 https://github.com/dracut-ng/dracut/issues/2761 ** Also affects: dracut via https://github.com/dracut-ng/dracut/issues/2761 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Also affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2167284 Title: Racy systemd-sysext-initrd.service on test 46 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/dracut/+bug/2167284/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
