* Minimize difference between imagecraft generated image and our current
standard minimal Ubuntu cloud image.

* The binary hook that installs udev for buildd builds now fails (because
the hook does not mount /proc). But using a binary hook to install a
package that ends up in every artifact is obtuse; so just add udev to the
list of packages in auto/config and delete the hook (and the redundant
installation of udev in 52-linux-virtual-image.binary). (LP: #2165421)
