I had a look at the issue and here's my theory so far: 1) the system is 24.04 with 6.8 2) the system uses 2.76.3+ubuntu24.04 3) crucially this does NOT cause re-execution to happen because snapd snap is 2.76.2 and snapd deb has +ubuntu... which sorts as more recent. 4) we use apparmor 4 in ABI=3 mode, something doesn't compile (speculation), or run (speculation) 5) rollback
I was unable to reproduce this on non GCP kernel yet.
