Public bug reported:

Upgrading linux-firmware to 20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu2.29 leads to
broken rendering using my AMD Radeon RX 6800. Rendering is still normal
during boot (as well as in GRUB menu, BIOS etc.), so the Ubuntu logo
gets displayed normally. As soon as GDM starts, rendering of the right
half of the monitor is broken i.e. only narrow vertical stripes are
being displayed (see attachment). The same monitor/cable works just fine
with other devices.

Booting an older kernel does not change anything. However, reverting
linux-firmware to version 20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu2.26 fixes the
issue.

Thank you for your consideration, and please let me know if I can
provide more information.
