-The newest version of the fai package (6.6) no longer requires the package
isc-dhcp as a dependency.
isc-dhcp fails to build in Ubuntu and has been dropped in Debian, so merging
fai will allow us to move
forward in the process of dropping isc-dhcp from Ubuntu. Overall, this will be
good for archive health.
- Attachment notes:
- Debian is the upstream maintainer, so there is no changelog besides
debian/changelog. The NEWS file
is unchanged since the previous Ubuntu version, so the diff has not been
included, since it is empty.
That being said, the NEWS file itself is attached.
