This looks complex but is actually a sync. First - what to sync - 30/31/32 are fixups and new features - but only needed in experimental and nothing yet uses or depends on it. I'd leave that behind and only sync 28. I asked frank if the z/power stuff is needed we can move on the sync later.
Then is this a sync? - If you look at the changes they seem massive [1] - But if you look closer that is actually all generated content which on the Ubuntu build was generated before source upload. The source has for example: qemu-@QEMUTYPE@-@NAME@ refresh-package* test-@[email protected] The upload had these generated explicitly. - The real change is actually this [2] which matches the changelog about not building on i386 - the later Debian revision dropped all 32 bit [3] Now => the noise is nothing => The real delta we have is in Debian 28 => we do not need the newer versions from experimental (and if needed can sync that later) [1]: https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isa-support/commit/?h=import/27ubuntu1&id=39dd0dfd98469975c3c455ec273f02a98fca5497 [2]: https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isa-support/diff/debian/control?h=import/27ubuntu1&id=39dd0dfd98469975c3c455ec273f02a98fca5497 [3]: https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isa-support/commit/?h=applied/debian/sid ** Changed in: isa-support (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Summary changed: - Merge isa-support 31 from Debian for stonking cycle + Sync isa-support 31 from Debian for stonking cycle -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2163542 Title: Sync isa-support 31 from Debian for stonking cycle To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isa-support/+bug/2163542/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
