One idea that came to my mind is to possibly verify the latest linux-hwe
kernel, which should be downloadable by running "sudo apt-get install
--install-recommends linux-generic-hwe-24.04". I think it should install
7.0.0 kernel for you, which includes one (low probability though) fix
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=9709eb0f845b713ba163f2c461537d8add3e4e04.
Eventually, you can test following mainline kernels:
- https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.16/
These kernels are unsigned, so if you are running with secure boot you
may need to either sign them yourself or disable secure boot to test
them out.
