This sounds like a kernel problem so reassigning...
Although note also that Ubuntu 26.04 ships with BlueZ 5.85, so if you're
still on 5.72 then something has gone wrong with the upgrade.
Please provide a full kernel log by running:
sudo dmesg > dmesg.txt
and attach the resulting text file here (the logs provided in comment #1
are insufficient).
