I've been getting the same bug for several weeks. Hugin brings up its "tip of the day" dialog and seems to be okay, but as soon as you dismiss the dialog CPU usage immediately hits 100% and stays there until Hugin crashes a short time later. On some occasions I've seen Hugin crash instantly on startup without needing to dismiss the dialog and without the seconds of high CPU load.
