Public bug reported:

the qtmultimedia unit tests reliably fail on my workstation due to a
deadlock in ffmpeg->libx265.

the issue in question seems to have been fixed upstream, but the x265
snapshot seems to be too old:
https://github.com/Multicorewareinc/x265/commit/8135b84bda4767fdb66df1d3f0fb68d729e777b1

it seems to require v4.2 or higher, while ubuntu ships v4.1.

it would be great if a bugfix for x265 could be released, either with
the fix cherry-picked (or by moving to a newer upstream release (v4.2 /
v4.3)
