Public bug reported:
sssd fails to build after gdm3 was updated to 51~beta-0ubuntu1.
The gdm 51 rewrite of the gdm-pam-extensions headers
removed the uppercase function-like macros that sssd's PAM client code
(src/sss_client/pam_sss.c) relies on, replacing them with lowercase
"static inline" functions of the same purpose but different names.
Because pam_sss.c still references the old macro names, the compiler
treats them as implicit function declarations, which is fatal under the
distro build flag -Werror=implicit-function-declaration.
