>To reach this point you'd have to install 24.04, manually override the prompt to allow interim releases and then ignore the prompts for all interim releases before 26.04, which is not really going to happen.
That premise is false because people can, and do, install 24.04 during this time period and change the prompt to normal. However, 24.04 -> 26.04 is an unsupported upgrade path *at this time*. That premise also assumes that 24.04 is no longer supported for installation *at this time*. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2163195 Title: Users are being notified of upgrade available early for noble -> resolute To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/2163195/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
