Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to improve
Ubuntu.

The 6.17 generic kernel is now end-of-life. Please try reproducing the
same issue after upgrading your system using the Software Updater
utility or `sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade`, which should
install linux-generic-hwe-24.04 version 7.0.0-28.28~24.04.1 or newer.

If the issue is not resolved using this updated kernel version, please
see if you are able to reproduce the issue using the latest available
mainline build. Instructions for installing and using mainline builds
can be found on this Wiki page:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds.
