After updating to kernel 7.0.0-28, backlight brightness control stopped
working on Intel HD Graphics 620 (i915). Changing brightness value via
brightnessctl or GUI updates the value, but physical brightness does not
change and stays maximum. Also, screen remains dark after resume from
sleep. Rolling back to kernel 6.17.x completely fixes the issue.
