I am pushing MPs to transition all of the rdepends to lua5.5 today (aside from ceph and wireplumber, which Luciano and the desktop team are handling respectively). All will link to this bug.
Most should be straightforward. The bump to dovecot requires bumps of lua-json and lua-lpeg. lua-lpeg is trivial, but lua-json also requires a version bump to upstream 1.3.5, which is not yet in Debian (although I submitted an MP for it there too[0]).
