Running kernel 7.0.0-28-generic in Ubuntu 24.04, when I start
Thunderbird 153.0-2, the kernel almost immediately panics. My suspicion
is the i915 device driver, so—even for the previous kernel I was running
(6.17.0-40-generic)—I have been using the boot parameters:
i915.enable_psr=0 i915.enable_dc=0. At the moment, I reverted to
6.17.0-40-generic until this is resolved.
