Public bug reported:

Ubuntu is deployed through MAAS.
During deployment, the installation progresses normally and the deployment log
contains:
curtin: Installation Finished
However, later in the deployment process, the following error is observed:
systemd-journaldfailed to save stream data
/run/systemd/journal/streams/10:128376:
No space left on device
Shortly afterward, MAAS marks the machine deployment as failed.
