Public bug reported:

Quite recently, within last ~2 weeks, browser interactions were
appearing as though I had been hacked or had malware controlling the
browser. Just opening Chromium and typing testing and hitting enter
key, the the browser would start to scroll up and down the page until it
finally got to the bottom and stopped.

Additionally, arrow keys would do really odd things on YouTube where one
would expected them to navigate the video forward/backward. Instead, it
felt like I was using a text based browser like lynx.

This was resolved by turning screen reader off. I normally have it on
for when I'm lazy and need something to read aloud to me. I had
configured Shift+Super+S to read what was highlighted.
