Yeah, I'm out of good ideas. One "shot in the dark" idea would be resetting the alsa state:
sudo mkdir -p /etc/alsa sudo touch /etc/alsa/state-daemon.conf sudo rm /var/lib/alsa/asound.state rm -rf ~/.local/state/wireplumber/ Reboot. If successful, you can return to normal saving on shutdown with: sudo rm /etc/alsa/state-daemon.conf Directions adapted from: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Advanced_Linux_Sound_Architecture/Troubleshooting#Removing_old_ALSA_state_file_(asound.state) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2159584 Title: [Dell XPS 13 9350] Audio stopped working, now "Dummy Output" only To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/2159584/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
