Steps to reproduce:
1. Provision DUT with linux-generic-hwe-22.04 6.8.0-130.130~22.04.1-generic.
2. Connect DUT HDMI output to Zapper HDMI capture (B101/unicam).
3. Run Checkbox job
com.canonical.certification::audio/zapper_playback_videoports.
Expected:
HDMI link comes up, DUT exposes HDMI audio output, Zapper detects the tone (as
on 6.8.0-106, RMS ~0.585, MSE pass).
Actual:
All external DRM connectors disconnected, all `eld_valid=0 /
monitor_present=0`, dmesg shows `no PCM in topology for HDMI converter`. Zapper
measures `RMS 0.000000` on every sink; test fails with "No audio connection
detected".
Regression range: Pass on 6.8.0-106.106~22.04.1-generic, fail on
6.8.0-130.130~22.04.1-generic. Only the DUT kernel changed; Zapper and
Checkbox job unchanged.
