Public bug reported:

Hello I was in Ubuntu MATE 24.04 LTS and after I suspend my pc, after 1 hour I
opened my laptop and the screen was completely off and just the power button
was enlighted, the keyboard was off too.
So I had to force the shut-down.

An user told me to do this commands (log.txt) and since I was in s3 deep
(kernel: PM: suspend entry (deep)) I had to do these steps and I confirm
the problem disappeared:

sudo nano /etc/default/grub
then I had to add near GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in the quotes:
"mem_sleep_default=s2idle" and since I use radeon I had to add always in the
quotes "radeon.dpm=0"
Then sudo update-grub

I don't know if it is a solution or a workaround and if can be part of a
new update of Ubuntu for my machine, but the problem is gone.

My PC is a Lenovo B575e; GPU: AMD ATI Radeon HD 7310; CPU: AMD E1-1500
APU (2) @ 1.480GHz; 8GB of RAM
