Public bug reported:
Discover has changed at Resolute.
It has always had issues updating when snaps are involved (see Bug 2100593) but
the latest release is different.
If there are only deb packages to update I no longer get prompted for my
password (new at Resolute)
If there are snaps to be updated I do get prompted for my password.
If there is more than one snap to update then only the first one on the list
(plus any debs) actually gets updated on the first pass. I have to click on
"Update" again for the rest to be installed.
And if this happens then the "Fetchin updates..." at the end hangs until I
click on the Refresh button.
