This is causing real-world harm: I had to spend hours fixing a system that wouldn't reboot after an unwanted Nvidia 535 update. And I have multiple CUDA-enabled systems that require a 6.8 kernel and Nvidia 470 driver combo that I had planned to keep using for the duration of 24.04 LTS.
(Just as an aside: given the current GPU shortage and inflated prices, this is not a good time to break perfectly functional cards.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2155202 Title: Latest Update Breaks Systems Using Nvidia 470 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-470/+bug/2155202/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
