Public bug reported:

The libfprint development supported-devices page already lists 27c6:6890
as a Goodix MOC Fingerprint Sensor, but the current Ubuntu libfprint
package does not detect this device on my system.

Device:
27c6:6890 Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. Goodix USB2.0 MISC

Machine:
Xiaomi Book Pro 14
DMI board: TM2424

Packages:
libfprint-2-2: 1:1.95.1+tod1-0ubuntu1
libfprint-2-tod1: 1:1.95.1+tod1-0ubuntu1
fprintd: 1.94.5-4

Original behavior:
fprintd reported "No devices available".

Tested fix:
I rebuilt the Ubuntu libfprint package after adding USB PID 0x6890 next to the
existing Goodix MOC device entry 0x689A.

Result:
fprintd detects the device and fingerprint enrollment works.

Please sync or backport upstream support for Goodix MOC fingerprint
device 27c6:6890 into the Ubuntu libfprint package.

** Affects: libfprint (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
