Though the callers of the above stack go suspiciously deep in
Javascript.
Please start be deleting all local extensions:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
rm -rf extensions
and then log in again.
Even disabled extensions can affect things if they are buggy so it's
important to try deleting them.
