Public bug reported:

Hello,

I have installed Windows 11 and Ubuntu Studio 26.04 on the same machine.
On both operating systems, I'm using the "SoundBlaster Recon3D Fatal1ty
Champion" (from "Creative Labs") as my sound card.
On Ubuntu Studio, it sometimes happens that either my sound card sounds dull
and radio-like, or that the right channel of my sound card is much louder than
the left channel.
If this happens, I need to reboot my PC with Windows 11, then shut it down
completely, then wait a few seconds, and then reboot my PC with Ubuntu Studio,
so the sound card will sound normal again.

It looks like the Windows Recon3D driver overwrites some parts of the
sound card's memory, and this has an effect on the Linux Recon3D driver,
even after reboot.

If you have any ideas how to solve this issue, or you need further
details, please contact me.

Best regards,
Manfred Bittersam
