@vanvugt Sorry for hijacking this bug. I have a patch ready at

(still need to trigger autopkgtests + ask for sponsorship), but I tested
the fix in a PPA already and confirmed that it is resolved by the patch.
I will also deal with the SRU process and the stonking fix if you don't
mind.
