Adding a related data point from a different Dell model:
I have a Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14250 (Lunar Lake, OVTI05C1/OV05C10) on Ubuntu
24.04 with the OEM 6.17 stack, and I see the same class of failure:
- `int3472-discrete INT3472:00: GPIO type 0x02 unknown; the sensor may not
work`
- `v4l2-ctl` fails with `VIDIOC_STREAMON returned -1 (Link has been
severed)`
My camera is detected as `OVTI05C1:00`, and the relevant packages are
installed:
- linux-oem-24.04d
- linux-modules-ipu7-oem-24.04d
- linux-modules-usbio-oem-24.04d
- linux-modules-vision-oem-24.04d
- libcamhal-ipu6epmtl
- gstreamer1.0-icamera
- v4l2-relayd
So while this is not the same laptop/Sensor as the DA16250, it looks like
the same INT3472 GPIO type 0x02 issue affecting another Dell camera platform.
I’m posting it here in case it helps confirm the backport should cover more
than
one model.-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2138991 Title: Dell 16 Premium DA16250 webcam (OV02C10) not working - INT3472 GPIO type 0x02 unknown To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ipu6-drivers/+bug/2138991/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
