I wouldn't know.  Has upstream continued to break their API?  I was
intrigued by the promise of what xpra could do, but found the reality of
it to be rather "unusable for any real task".

Having a quick look through the bug reports here seems to confirm the
problem that I previously identified with xpra: upstream always suggests
to run the latest code and while that newer release may or not address
your current problem you are basically guaranteed to run into some other
big issue that will prevent you from using the software productively in
a meaningful way.  My impression was it is perpetually broken.
Polishing up one release to make it usable before introducing the newest
shiny features didn't appear as a priority.

So, the ticket can certainly be closed as obsolete.  I believe the
underlying issue was never fixed, though.
