Hi Kai-Chuan, I know it can be tempting to want to add changes to Ubuntu, even if they are small, or you need it in six months time, but all changes we make carry risk, and to try mitigate that risk, we need to release changes in small, testable units.
I think its best to wait until you have a system in your lab that you can test the enablement with, and verify that things work correctly. For devel releases, you can ask the maintainer to make a release anytime and then you can incorporate those changes all at once with a merge or a sync from debian, making it much easier to get new features, and such changes are less risky for the wider community. But stable releases really do need to stick to an agreed [Testcase]. So, I think it is better to wait for the moment. Now, would you like me to review and sponsor noble and questing for you?
