After waking up from suspend, computer was sluggish. I checked `htop` and saw cpu frequency equal minimal supported frequency. It wasn't changing no matter what I was doing. At first I check CPU governor. I checked `intel_pstate` if it was properly configured, and it was. Then fast search in internet suggested `thermald` as the problem. Restarting fixed issue, htop showed dynamic cpu frequency.
Currently I work on other OS release (POP OS 24.04) with thermald version 2.5.6-2ubuntu0.24.04.3 and have no problem with cpu scalling. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2070408 Title: CPU locks itself in low clock after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thermald/+bug/2070408/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
