** Description changed:
SRU Justification:

[Impact]

In bug 2138721, a temporary work-around was proposed by Intel, and a
latter formal release with ABI breakage fixed is then available as
linux-firmware commit e2207455 ("Intel IPU7: Update firmware binary for
Panther Lake").

[Fix]

1. ipu7-drivers upstream tag release 20260129_1800_11 is used, along
with additional fixes to address the build time/runtime issues
completely.

2. linux-firmware updates are required, too. For Resolute, revert the
change for bug 2138721 as commit e2207455 is in linux-firmware/resolute
since version 20260123.git1b7b9f6c-0ubuntu1. For Noble, revert the
change for bug 2138721 and cherry pick commit e2207455.

3. For kernels, update dkms-versions.

[Test Plan]

1. install dkms and linux-firmware from -proposed pocket. It should
automatically trigger dkms kernel modules build for current running
kernel.

2. Reboot and test if camera function works as usual.

[Where problems could occur]

Firmware updates, opaque to the public.

[Other Info]

While bug 2138721 applies to N and R so far, nominate fixes for N and R
as well.
