I set up a new (very old) system and ran into similar behavior on an AMD
device (gpu ATI RV370, card name AMD X300), with mesa
25.2.8-0ubuntu0.24.04.1. No display with X.org, and this time with lots
of graphical artifacting on Wayland.
(also, running inxi causes eglinfo to crash, reliably. I've attached a
crash log)
