Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. What happens here: apport started and forked a new process. Then the initial process returned (you can see "lotuspsychje@r00tb0x:~$" in the logs). Afterward apport wrote warnings to stderr.
You can just press enter (or ctrl+c) to get a new prompt printed.
